Danai gave us an exclusive performance of the song to give us a taste of what she has in store for her supporters. On October 5th, she dropped a studio-recorded cover of the hit song produced by Jan Orsag, mixed by Matt Di Pomponio of Echo Plant Studios, mastered by Brock McFarlane of CPS Mastering, and proudly supported by The MIX.
Earlier this year, the local artist also gave us a live performance of her recent single, Come Thru, an emotional track discussing her failed marriage and the events following it. We also caught up with her at this year’s Safe and Sound Music Fest where she spoke with us about Vancouver’s local music scene.

Wicked Game is a song written by American rock musician Chris Isaak. It was one of the tracks from his third studio album, Heart Shaped World (1989). It rose to popularity after it was featured in the 1990’s film, Wild at Heart. As a result, it reached number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 1991, making the song Isaak’s first hit from his musical career.
This is the latest from the musical artist. If you want to see her perform live, she currently has two shows lined up in Toronto and Vancouver. Residents of the 6ix can catch her at Adelaide Hall on October 18th opening for Jon Bryant. For Vancouverites, you guys can see her next month on November 11th at the Commodore Ballroom opening for The Boom Booms.
