After speaking with The Boom Booms about life on the road, the guys were kind enough to give us a special acoustic performance of their track All Day All Night.
Hosted at Barber & Co in Yaletown, the band performed a live version of their indie love song as part of our MIX Tapes series. All Day All Night discusses the feelings and thoughts one has while in a one-sided relationship. Whether you’re dealing with a crush or coping with a breakup, the lyrics can relate to any situation that involves a person in a state of unreciprocated love. Basically, any event where a lovesick person is constantly gushing over their love interest.
If you want to see the band perform live, the guys will be heading out for a five-stop tour around British Columbia. From January to May, the Boom Booms will hit up Osoyoos, Kelowna, Rossland, Maple Ridge, and Vancouver. For more information on their tour, visit their website here.
And a big thanks to Barber & Co for allowing us to use their space for the performance. First established in 2011 in Gastown, the barbershop aims “to supply men with comfort, culture, and handsome confidence.” If you want to learn more about the barbershop, be sure to check out their social platforms below.
