AltaVie, premium weed for premium people.
On April 5th, Canadian cannabis producer MedReleaf celebrated the launch of AltaVie with a huge art show to celebrate “living in the now.”
According to the company’s press release, the new product line is designed for “a premium consumer who is curious, discerning about life in general and searching for physical, mental and emotional enrichment.” To kick off the launch, MedReleaf organized an evening of art and creativity.
“It’s about celebrating being present,” says MedReleaf Vice President of Strategy Darren Karasiuk. “It’s about trying to remove the distraction around us and really celebrating the now, and mindfulness.”
Some featured creatives of the night included visionary poets and several Toronto artists. This included Cleo Wade, Briony Douglas, Alpo Snow, Tahsin- The Good, and Enzee Creative. Each person contributed work dedicated to the gallery’s key message.
Luckily, we caught up with one of the artists to see how she’s incorporating this mentality in her life. “Living in the now right now is all about my art,” says artist Douglas. “That’s why it’s pretty cool to be able to curate this art show.”
By introducing this new line, CEO of MedReleaf Neil Closner hopes to maintain the company’s reputation as “Canada’s premier cannabis producer.”
“With the launch of AltaVie, MedReleaf reinforces its position as a leader in the industry, adding to a portfolio of brands to meet the diverse needs of Canadians. With AltaVie, we now have a premium wellness line that complements our recreational and medical brands, all of which lever the company’s award-winning products, leading quality and production standards.”
