An Influencer’s Dream: HAPPY PLACE is Toronto’s Instagrammable Wonderland

But first, let me take a selfie.

Adulting straight up sucks. When avocado toast and self-deprecating humour just doesn’t cut it, it’s time to go to your happy place. Luckily, this place actually exists.

HAPPY PLACE is a space dedicated to good vibes and good times. The new pop-up exhibition has found its new temporary home in Toronto. Here, visitors can check out the interactive art installations and multi-sensory themed rooms. Vibrant colours, bright lights, and a whole lot of confetti, each room is just asking to be photographed and posted to social media.

The Instagrammable exhibit started in 2017 in Los Angeles by founder Jared Paul. By creating these immersive and photogenic rooms, it encourages visitors to “capture [their] happy.”

“HAPPY PLACE was created because we BELIEVE that our world today can use a lot more happiness. To make this DREAM come true, we set out on a journey to create a special place where anyone who walks in is surrounded by all things HAPPY.” – HAPPY PLACE website

After making its way north to Canada, residents of the 6ix can now take part in this wonderland of fun. Between November 1st, 2018 and January 1st, 2019, Toronto locals can dance in the world’s largest indoor Confetti Dome, strike their best duck face in the rubber duckie room, and take mirror selfies in front of thousands of mini mirrors.

Tickets to the pop-up can be purchased online. But if you’re low on cash, then you’re in luck. The MIX is giving two lucky locals a wondrous trip to HAPPY PLACE. The contest drops Monday, November 5th on our Instagram account @mixtoronto. Be sure to give us a follow so that you’ll get all the details once the contest goes live.

For more information on HAPPY PLACE, check out the magical dreamland online for more images of all of its glory. Opening weekend has already sold out so be sure to grab tickets before it’s too late.
